Fatih Birol, head of the IEA, said in an interview with CNBC that the world is facing the “biggest energy security threat in history,” citing the loss of around 13 million barrels per day of oil supply amid disruptions linked to the Iran conflict and the closure of the Strait of Hormuz.
Every day I log on here after reading that the president has threatened to nuke Iran again or some fascist tech company has put an AI chatbot and some Proud Boys in charge of the water supply or whatever, and the discourse is always something like "the twitch streamer shouldn't talk about stealing"
