A home-made Mulata Daiquiri Cocktail, made with rum, crème de cacao and lime juice.
It’s been a while, but tonight’s #fridaynightcocktail is a Mulata Daiquiri:
2 shot aged rum
¼ shot Brown crème de cacao
¼ shot White crème de cacao
½ shot Freshly squeezed lime juice
¼ shot sugar syrup
Shaken over ice and strained into a martini glass.

Komasa Gin
a good blanco vermouth
orange bitters
Cointreau
Chill glasses well with shaved ice. While they chill, mix 2 oz Komasa Gin, 3/4 oz a good blanco vermouth, and two dashes of orange bitters, stir until very cold.

15ml Demerara syrup (2-1 sugar water)
1 dash angostura bitters

10ml Curacao
3ml simple syrup (2-1 sugar water)
1 dash orange bitters.
Shake over ice, strain and serve up in a coupe or similar

60ml aged rum.
30ml Sweet Vermouth
2 dashes orange bitters.
Stir everything over ice and strain with either a lemon twist or maraschino cherries as preferred to garnish.

Tonight’s #FridayNightCocktail is a riff on a Parisienne because I didn’t don’t have all the right ingredient. I’m calling it a Banlieue… because it’s close enough.

Stir over ice and strain. Sweet open, a solid gin mid and a floral finish

Shake everything over ice and double strain.
A lovely tart soft berry variant to the roots rum classic

40ml Campari
25ml blackstrap rum
10ml Curaçao
25ml Fresh Lime Juice
20ml Orgeat
Shake and strain into a coup.
Fun progression on this one, it opens with almost marzipan then citrus to bitter orange and a lightly bitter almond finish. Great stuff.
