I'm having a few issues with deciding whether or not I would create a species in #FuckEmUpTTRPG that almost always defaults to it/its pronouns. I like being inclusive and finding actual niches for neopronouns, obscure kinks, and divergent personalities. I just don't know enough about it/its usage ig
In #FuckEmUpTTRPG I prefer using the actual term for "fantasy races", which would be species. Different species with similar intelligences, usually retaining a humanoid form. "Races" is a troubled word that implies something different than how it is used in the fictional reality of D&D/LoTR/HP/etc.
Weirdly enough, I was using "moid" and "foid" as reclaimed slurs in #FuckEmUpTTRPG for sapient species that colonial humans came across that had genders that were similar to their traditional gender binary, now "foid" is a weird manosphere term and I have to write some new words in those slots lol.
Oh and I forgot to add that sex is a functional secondary combat system, able to be used in tandem alongside actual combat. While the results aren't usually lethal, I have designed it to be dynamic and include real stakes just like traditional rpg combat encounters. #FuckEmUpTTRPG is 18+.
And, finally, I will add that I might just create a new account only for updates related to my projects. Even if it doesn't directly relate to #FuckEmUpTTRPG, I will tag the announcement post as such to funnel ppl interested in my work in game design and writing in general.
I don't have any methods of financial support for this project, and neither do I need one. HOWEVER, if a lot of of people like the idea of #FuckEmUpTTRPG and want to see it produced quickly, I will set up a means of fiscal encouragement. I do NOT expect to make any money off of this project btw.
The current working title for it is FuckEmUp (I usually abbreviate it as FMU for whatever reason) so all of my update posts on it are going to be tagged #FuckEmUpTTRPG or #FuckEmUp! If u don't want to see my rambles but DO want game updates, follow these tags.
