AB 131, which just passed with the budget, exempts High Speed Rail design changes and maintenance facilities from CEQA. Now the legislature just needs to guarantee fixed Cap and Trade $$ to enable private investment, get HSR out of the valley, and #FinishTheLine! #FundHighSpeedRail

Glad to see Newsom putting money where his mouth is and committing to #FundHighSpeedRail. While we'd love to see more details, guaranteed funding from Cap and Trade will allow CA High Speed Rail to access private financing and build more, faster.

The Trump administration has publicly-funded high speed rail in its crosshairs. Fortunately California High Speed Rail is much farther along and harder to kill - laying track on 119 miles, with support from Gov. Newsom and the public. Let's #FundHighSpeedRail to keep it moving, whatever Trump says.
