🔹 7-28% of students experience sexual abuse.
🔹 Women face higher rates than men.
🔹 Common scenarios: Surgery, Emergency, and Neurology services.
🔹 Perpetrators? Often colleagues early on, but shift to doctors in later years.

🗣️ Discrimination & Sexism including insults, favoritism, and degrading remarks are common, especially for female students. These barriers lead to less recognition, fewer opportunities, and discourage women from “male-dominated” specialties.
