Why should I take the GH-900 exam? The GH-900 certification validates your competence in essential GitHub skills: using version control (commits, branches, merges), managing repositories (cloning, pushing, forking), collaborating through issues, pull requests, and code review, and setting up basic GitHub Actions workflows. It also covers repository and organization security fundamentals: permissions, branch protections, and dependency/security features, plus how GitHub integrates with project planning and community capabilities.
