Pro tip: when buying a pre-owned Wing, try to stick to the #GL1800 (2001-2016ish) for maximum bang for your buck.

Oh, it is, just in a different stance.

This generation (2001 #GL1800) redesign was a *major improvement over the previous 1500-6 editions, which were said to be rather top-heavy.
A bit tricky in parking lots, but that's when *reverse comes in very handy. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Cheers mate. It serves me well.
I've been riding a #GL1800 since 02 (this is my 2nd one).
For me, it's a good compromise between speed and comfort.

Reverse is quite helpful, particularly on an inclined driveway like mine. The redesign that #Honda did in '01 for the #GL1800 made the half-ton #Goldwing a much better handling bike than the earlier editions.

'07 was just prior to the subtle evolution of the 2nd gen #GL1800 but still had some nice improvements over mine ๐Ÿ‘

I understand that the 1200/4's were rather beastly in comparison.๐Ÿƒ

Then came the 1500/6's ๐Ÿšš

Those brand new 2025 models are pure #StarWars in contrast to mine though. ๐Ÿš€ ๐Ÿ‘€
