Overslept and missed the first half of the men menning, but very happy to see technical calling edges when it normally seems to be much less enforced in men than in other categories.

-if it was up to me evgeniia and geoffrey would be in second. i hate that their scores are being affected by that Other Team even when they're nowhere in sight, because the french fed no longer cares about them 😒 they had my fave RD of the night

-madi and evan are of course very skilled but idk, they looked off, not at their best. i think the RD will grow on me

-shaido isn't the most graceful skater but he has such flawless jump technique, it's really a joy to watch. i still don't really like this SP but i liked it better than at the CS

-rinka didn't bring it for me performance-wise, i didn't like the choreo and her skating felt a bit overwhelmed by the music, she was helped a lot by the 3A
-if gubanova is committed to this SP can she at least take off the bindi 😭
-lowest score in women's being 61 is wild, what a field

-alysa is so damn good
-i'm not worried about amber at all, i would be more worried if she skated perfectly because i don't want her to burn out before february
-i want to watch rino matsuike skate forever
-ditto hana yoshida
