#GaieDelap had been released earlier to be placed on an electronic monitor, but none fit her; after 20 days she was returned to prison, her prison term extended for the 20 days w/o a monitor for being “unlawfully at large.” In the final days of January she was again released to home curfew.

‘On Friday afternoon Gaie Delap was released from Eastwood Park prison on home detention curfew. It is understood that a 15cm wrist strap previously deemed unsuitable for her was considered usable.

IT: The UK Ministry of Justice said that if offenders could not be monitored electronically in the community, they would be returned to prison, even if the lack of monitoring was no fault of their own.
Ms Delap was arrested on December 21st and taken to Eastwood Park Prison.
