A picture of part of the counter at my local Gail's branch (a higher-end high street café/bakery chain in the UK). The counter is white with a dark stone top, and is mostly taken up by some pastel pink coffee making equipment with some white and red Gail's-branded cups on top. Behind the counter is a wall mounted rack containing glass jars of various teas. Above the rack are three wall-mounted menus, one listing drinks, one advertising hot cross buns, and one advertising soup. The counter is situated between two pillars, the lower halves of which are covered with tiles in different shades of brick red and the top halves are painted white. This design extends to the wall behind the counter. In front of the counter is a small stand with a rack of cup lids, a box containing sugar sachets, and two small jugs of water and some glasses.
I went to Gail's to sit and knit today since I love their apple sesame butter cakes. I've put aside the green Evja mittens for now and began a Navelli top using the purple Qing Fibres yarn I bought recently. I've only knit a little of the hem so no progress to show yet.
