Have you written a non-fiction book about Dungeons & Dragons or other TTRPG? Something that's NOT a source book, a rules expansion, adventure, or a book about how to play the game? I'm putting a panel together for #GameholeCon this year and could use another author or two. Hit me up!
I finally got off my butt and submitted my application to be an author at #GameHoleCon in Madison, WI again.
Hopefully, I'll have a new fantasy novel set in Ancient Greece available for the con, First Fire.
It took a bit, but here’s my final #GameHoleCon reflection! #ttrpg

Photo of a man and a woman holding up three pieces of character art.
Black and white illustration of an angry anthropomorphic bear wielding a war axe in one hand while making a throwing motion with the other arm, which is a mechanical prosthetic.
Black and white illustration of a tabaxi wearing a cloak over leather armor and a bandolier of potions. A pair of goggles sit askew on his forehead, and he holds a crossbow in one hand.
Black and white illustration of a leather armor-clad tabaxi leaping through the air, wielding a dagger in each hand, trailing trinkets out of a pouch, and with a wild grin on her face.
Drawing character art for folks is always a highlight of #GameholeCon for me. I love bringing these creative character concepts to life, especially when it comes to regulars. Bill and Jessica always have really fun, unique character ideas, and I had a blast drawing their group of beastfolk.
Black and white drawing of a humanoid, dragon-like woman with three long tendrils growing from her head reminiscent of suckerless octopus tentacles. She is dressed in a hoodie, t-shirt, and leggings.
Photo of a man holding the artwork of his character.
Drawing character art for folks is always a highlight of #GameholeCon for me. I love bringing these creative character concepts to life - like this tendril-haired dragon lady for Dave!
Black and white drawing of a girl in a tunic and cloak wearing a cat on her head as if it were a hat. The cat seems okay with it.
Photo of a purple-haired woman holding the artwork.
Drawing character art for folks is always a highlight of #GameholeCon for me, especially when it comes to regulars. This is the 4th time I've drawn @ginnyloveday.com's niece Skylynn. She's been a mage, a rogue, a barbarian, and now a druid now that she has a cat!
I took a couple of weeks off for #GameHoleCon, but Random #TTRPG thougths has returned!

Black and white drawing of a anthropomorphic dog, dressed in a loose shirt, throwing up the metal horns with his hands.
Photo of Dio the dog next to the drawing of Dio the bard.
Drawing character art for folks is always a highlight of #GameholeCon for me, especially when it comes to regulars. This is the 5th time I've drawn @latiajacquise.com's dog Dio, each time as a different D&D class.
This year, Dio became a bard based on heavy metal singer Ronnie James Dio!
Black and white illustration of a goblin girl with a big grin on her face and arms flung open as if waiting for a hug. Lines of magic flow up from her and become a polar bear wearing a tiara, representing her transformative abilities.
Pencil sketch of the illustration.
Drawing character art for folks is always a highlight of #GameholeCon for me. I love bringing these creative character concepts to life - like this Goblin Druid and her tiara-wearing polar bear wildshape, a favorite childhood character of Bronwyn. Commissioned by @thomasvalley.com.
Black and white drawing of a cowboy, eyes in the shadow of a wide-brimmed hat, mischievous grin on his face, wielding playing cards between his fingers.
Photo of a man holding the drawing.
Drawing character art for folks is always a highlight of #GameholeCon for me. I love bringing these creative character concepts to life - like this card-slingin' cowboy (based on @steveconley.bsky.social's Death Dealer rogue subclass) for Rick.
I forgot I did RPEX #Gameholecon
Black and white illustration of a humanoid tortoise playing a sataer (a long-necked, bowed instrument) while a mischievous gremlin sits atop his shell.
Photo of a grinning man holding the drawing of the turtle man.
Drawing character art for folks is always a highlight of #GameholeCon for me. I love bringing these creative character concepts to life - like this tortle musician and his gremlin companion for Jason!

Haunted West is good
Panic at the Dojo is a lot
Probably will go next year, may run some con games.
I was watching @dmtales's GameHole Con Day 1 Walk Through Video this morning, and he talked to a vendor named Limiting Factor Games that makes what looks to be a great product for grid-based combat fantasy TTRPGs like modern D&D and Pathfinder called DynaMaps. They seem to fix all the problems I […]
Still riding the high of my first #gameholecon. Such an amazing opportunity to find and play new games with chill people.

I also ran this one at #gameholecon last weekend. Both times were loads of fun!
I was privileged to sit down at #GameHoleCon with Sean K. Reynolds, Shanna Germain, and Bruce R. Cordell of @montecookgames.com for a chat about Numenera’s present and future! Check it out! #ttrpg

Photo of my convention table. On it is a book stand filled with coloring books, comics, and TTRPG zines. Behind it is a banner with my name and an illustration of a ska bard.
A few photos from #GameholeCon. As always, it was a fantastic show! We had a great time slinging art, playing games, and hanging out with friends old and new.
Finally coming down to Earth after a great time at #GameHoleCon by booking my hotel for next year!
Honorbound is now with the layout artist and still has a possibility of being printed before Christmas. I am doubtful because of the holidays but January looks like the latest!

Best thing I got from #GameholeCon was a signed copy of
@randallhampton.bsky.social's The Little Game Master story for my 3yo. We read it multiple times a day and play "Grabbed by vines," where we decide how to free ourselves from vines and roll to try. Best family gaming purchase of my life.
Missed me at #gameholecon ? No sweat, I'm bringing the loot bag to you!
🎉I'm extending a 20% OFF coupon to everyone who couldn't make it to the table.

A sketch of the characters from a Runemaker session at Gamehole Con. Several Hundan and a Halfling surrounding a Corrosive Elemental.
Had a fantastic weekend at #GameholeCon! Played some new games, attended some great panels, and got to run #Runemaker for some new people 💚 Was even gifted some session art from the table. Thank you all for being rad. We'll be back next year!

Two books, the Draw Steel rpg Heroes and Monsters books
@hellomcdm.bsky.social that was a devious marketing move to have @jamesintrocaso.bsky.social track me down at #GameholeCon, invite me to a demo game, and time all that perfectly with delivering the #DrawSteelRpg books to my door today. Well played! #ttrpg
