Just finished Chants Of Sennaar, possibly one of the best games I've played in a long while. Hit the balance JUST right for frustrating puzzle solving and moments of utter bliss when you work out a clue. 100% recommend this game. #GamesMasterXantin

So Alchemy Factory is very fun, but ye GODS is it a nightmare trying to work out the production chains. Some of it is really simple X in Y out, but fuel is just f'king confusing.

Picked up Parcel Simulator in the Steam Winter Sale as a bit of a distraction game. It's a nice mix of Papers Please & Satisfactory. I've now got a fully automated processing plant going. Next step is to start improving efficiencies. Quite enjoying it.

Picked up a game demo for MineMogul today. Definitely one I am going to be picking up when it comes to EA. I love automation games and this one is very much realistic (belts don't link to machines, stuff just drops). Had a really fun evening setting up basic production lines. #GamesMasterXantin
So I picked up Seafarer: The Ship Sim in Early Access. Spent this evening playing it. The concept is really fun and it's nice to just chill whilst hauling cargo. Won't pretend that an hour just sailing between waypoints isn't thrilling, but I also just unlocked fast travel... #GamesMasterXantin
Decided to pick up a load of new VR games, because I've been really getting back into it, DEFINITELY going to get cables run down into the living room when I redecorate and probably upgrade headset along with PC. Maestro is fucking brilliant, think Beat Sabre but performance. #GamesMasterXantin
Spent some time in VR too playing Down the Rabbit Hole. It's an interesting concept and I quite like the mix of perspectives they play with. Also, they've created some really unique settings. Unfortunately, VR doesn't really do good screenshots! Need to do more VR stuff soon. #GamesMasterXantin
Spent time tonight on NMS with @itspequod.bsky.social setting up my Activated Indium mine. Not as huge as the one I have in other sessions, but it should do to prime my cash flow a bit and help creating all the other bits I need! I'm really enjoying playing multiplayer on this. #GamesMasterXantin

Spent a few hours in VR tonight with @itspequod.bsky.social playing Escape Simulator. I've never really done any multiplayer VR before and honestly had an absolute blast. Definitely an easier game with 2 people so you have one to read items, the other to enter codes. #GamesMasterXantin

Been having an absolute ball with @itspequod.bsky.social playing Abiotic Factor. Kinda amazed how much I'm enjoying playing it as I didn't initially think it would be my sort of game. The map design is pure genius and randomly opening up new pathways is so rewarding. #GamesMasterXantin
Just reached the end of Spiritfarer and I don't think I could say that a game has ever managed to actually touch my soul like that did. Putting aside that it's a fun little platforming and collecting game, underneath is some incredible heart and touching moments. #GamesMasterXantin

I do find that the derailed carriages you find are a bit spooky in their way. I also have developed a habit of turning off all the lights in them, sort of like putting them to rest, I am unsure why... #GamesMasterXantin

Day spent board gaming, then evening spent on Voidtrain. I have to agree with some reviews, the "gameplay loop" in this is a little lacking, I think in part because of the "you're in a train" part meaning you don't do much but gather. But honestly I'm really enjoying it still. #GamesMasterXantin

I really enjoy Voidtrain, although I DO think it needs to achieve more in terms of gameplay variability. As the "collect, refine, build" rotation never really changes. The new additions though are very much welcome and make gathering far quicker. #GamesMasterXantin

New update dropped (after I thought the game was dead) for Voidtrain. They've changed and improved a load of things, certainly making them vastly more user friendly. Started a new playthrough and hoping this can occupy my gaming time for a bit. Definitely a fun concept. #GamesMasterXantin
It may not look like anything impressive (this is still my starter factory), but I cannot tell you just how happy this on splitter it makes me. FINALLY have Smart Splitters, which means I can flood conveyors before overflow to storage, rather than having to do complicated maths! #GamesMasterXantin
