A nearly white – leaning towards creme – fully open tulip photographed in portrait mode, so that only the flower is sharp and the background is green foliage. Photo taken on a sunny day. The colours are warm and rich. The tulip has six petals and of course exposes its organs for every bee to see and bumblebee to miss.
