Had to work last night, so missed #GenealogyHour, but just in case, here's my current longshot:
Anyone know where you can find the 1831 & 1821 censuses (UK) these days?
It used to be that #FreeCen had them, but not any more.
It's a shame because, although they need very careful handling &
1/2..
Finally - a Thursday I remembered it's Thursday!
What's new #GenealogyHour folks?
D'argh! & yet again I failed to connect 'Thursday evening' with #GenealogyHour(!)
...& the worst is: I said to spouse last night at about quart-to-eight "I have this feeling I'm forgetting something".
So close and yet so far 🤦🫣😮💨
Took forever to research and craft a brief bio explaining 1850s travel using Penn turnpikes and the Cumberland Road. Then: were you born in VA or present day WVa; which is more accessible to the CR when migrating west? Would you leave for KS before/after 1854? Lots of hist and geo in
#genealogyhour
Ooo I'm so cross at myself:
Last night at 10-to-8 I remembered #GenealogyHour was on, & my phone had charge & everything...
...now I realise *that's* what I was supposed to be doing after I finished playing with the dog for 10mins or so.
Yet again, menopause - 0 out of 10 do not recommend. 🫣🙄
Yay for Friday - equal parts 'Oh bum!' because that means I missed yet another #GenealogyHour last night.
I swear, it's like snow blindness!
Maybe I need to start my 'official' weekend with Genealogy hour...
I'm such an eejit - I keep managing to think of #GenealogyHour early on a Thursday & then completely forgetting by the evening. 🙄🫣

Having a similar conversation on Threads with Project Kin. Different timings would suit different time zones too. I work full-time so could only do evenings. Any suggestions for a name? #GenealogyHour or something like that so it’s obvious what it is?
