Using @colorado.edu's quantum randomness beacon (random.colorado.edu) to generate starting states for each row/column of stitches. From those stitches these shapes and patterns emerge.

Here's how the "Quantum Randomness Hitomezashi" embroidery is going so far. Finished the first 6 rows on the x axis, starting 0,1,1,1,0,0,etc. These positions were generated by the first two pulses from @colorado.edu's quantum randomness beacon. #generativedice

Really pleased how this one turned out. My first #generativedice #generative #embroidery experiment. The hexagon is subdivided by interweaving lines directed by dice roll and coin flip. Also my first try adding some quilting to enhance the rounded feel of the cells.
