Hey #genshiken fans (the handful that are on this site),
I'm starting a project where I hope to go through the Genshiken manga and analyze the official English translation chapter by chapter, noting unique elements of the translation and (especially) pop culture elements that may have been missed.
#TamonkunImaDocchi is basically an anime about fangirl idol worship culture. It is comedy and mostly ROMCOM. All the fangirl's expressions, squeals, living habits and inner thoughts exposed. It's like a female version of #Genshiken (yeah there's season2).

I just purchased all of the #Genshiken #manga series off of ebay. Way too expensive but considering it's 23 books with shipping it divides to around $11 each which is basically retail. Excited to read the missing arc the Anime didn't cover as well as what happens after the last anime series.
My first printed comic from 2006. I was still in high school. It's a Genshiken doujin. Printed 100 copies. Sold 0. This is the only remaining one. I stole it from my mom. I made it for a convention I helped put together with my friend @pussymango.bsky.social #genshiken #doujin #manga #comics
