Georgetown Day School students were in the It’s Academic semifinals that aired today.

The GDS students came in a close second on TV’s high school academic quiz show and so will not be advancing to the championship round.

It’s playoff time for the PBS/WETA-TV high school quiz show It’s Academic.

Both the Georgetown Day School Grasshoppers and the Maret Frogs made the playoffs this year.

Georgetown Day advanced to the next round, but Maret fell to their opponents.
