An improvised Altar of Repose at St Simon’s, using flower stands and a small table near the baptismal font.
It is a well established liturgical principle that the building always wins. We don’t have a second altar of lady chapel to use as an Altar of Repose, so we improvise.
Parishioners will keep vigil with Jesus tonight at St. Simon’s before tomorrow’s Good Friday liturgy.
