Gas is on the way out as Victoria continues push for all-electric homes From 2027, old gas hot water systems will be replaced with electric ones in homes under new reforms aimed at tackling emissions and gas shortages.

More good news on #GettingOffGAS in Australia. The Victorian state government is banning the replacement of old #fossilgas hot water systems. It’s a good start towards #allelectric homes in #Victoria. I’d bet extending the ban to gas heaters will be next.
