This ghost white squirrel of Transylvania County in western North Carolina isn't an albino - note the dark eyes. Ostensibly, a pair of these, a variation of the gray squirrel, escaped from a carnival in the 1940s, but I'd rather think of them as apparitions. #photography #wildlife #ghostsquirrel
