As much as I'm enjoying the mindless gaming break I think I'm gonna shelve Diablo 4 until the xpac drops and pull #GhostsintheDark back out and look at how to pull out the MotW style harm system and replace it with either an #FitD dice pool or a #CityofMists tag system

I think I've talked myself into ripping most of the #PBTA out of my #GhostsintheDark game & going closer to full #FITD
Instead of using damage values I can make everything dice pool. Stacking abilities is more dice, armor is minimum # of successes. Weak/Resist raises/lowers effect

Within an hour of starting #GhostsintheDark our new player was like "What if we kill a werewolf and leave their body in the vampire run hospital so that the Pack kills them all for us and I can feed off the deaths?" and I'm just like:

So far our little band of miscreant cryptids, ghosts, cat gods & haunted dolls set off a massive vamps v. werewolves turf war, negotiated an alliance w/Deep Ones that control the docks, fought off an ambush of redneck hunters & recruited the spirit of an abandoned hospital

Been neck deep in book writing since last year but just looking back over the WIP rules for #GhostsintheDark and rewatching one of our playtest sessions has me psyched to get back to it
