Rewatched a walkthrough of the #nes game of #anightmareonelmstreet That box ain't kidding, you can actually play up to 4 players (!) by connecting to a NES Four Score Adapter. The game is more based on the 3rd movie The Dream Warriors where you can turn into whatever you imagine such as a ninja or a wizard in the dream world (but you need to collect dream tokens for that to happen). As far as I remember the only time knives came out of Freddy's hand instead of his glove was in the 2nd movie.
