[Visual Description at bottom of post.] This photo is over 10 years old. 2014. A self portrait. I had a lot of acne at this stage of my life. A new set of very weak constant soft boxes (that I still use, just pulled them out for headshots to give the light a little bump at a space 🤘). A piece of fabric I bought from JoAnn’s. My point? A couple things. The photo has aged just fine output quality wise. I tossed the RAW into Photoshop, ran my usual noise correction, gave my skin a little smooth job, color boost, and here we are. Make sure to get in front of the camera as well as behind it. I look back fondly at the exploration here and it made me a better photographer. D300s, 1/125, f5.6, 1250 Tamron 17-50 2.8 @ 40mm.
