#OnThisDay 1692:
More than 30 members of the Scottish Highland clan MacDonald were murdered by government forces at the #GlencoeMassacre. They were killed for not pledging allegiance to the newly crowned King of Orange quickly enough. Those who killed them had lived with them for weeks.
