Poem Goddess Bless By: J.L. Brown, February 2026 Goddess bless the stranger The ones who dare to dream Goddess bless the immigrants Whose blood flows in our streams Goddess bless the ones who stand Against these fascist foes Goddess bless the children Who will wear these scars of woe Let us raise the torch for Liberty Hand Themis back Her sword Let Persephone walk amongst the fields Give Cassandra back Her word Let us scream upon the mountaintops Of the rape of Mother Earth And feel Her power energize This new age of rebirth Let us howl beside the riversides Til our voices shake their walls When Justitia brings Her justice And these evil forces fall Goddess bless the mothers The aunties and the grans Goddess bless the teachers The healers hardened hands Goddess bless the witches Who see and guide and say Goddess bless this precious earth And Liberty light the way.
Felt called to write this poem yesterday. Might put it to music today. Sending love to all in these dark times. May we each shine our little light. ✨️
