Thank you Victoria! Very kind words about #GodtheChild
A really encouraging & creative engagement with my ideas in an essay in 'Amipotence' (volume 2) & in #HolyAnarchy &, at the end, in #GodtheChild - including some further creative metaphors -

A lovely article by Rachel Mann, engaging with my ideas in #GodtheChild - what they offer regarding different models of leadership, church and power in the world. Thanks Rachel!
The Pope's point is fascinating & allows a nod to #GodtheChild - that divine littleness confronts abstract notions in theology (inc. omnipotence & omniscience, I'd argue), but subjective feelings (even if risky) can't be avoided - we always 'do' theology, drawing on a mix of metaphors, idols & truth

The song from Matilda the musical, 'We are Revolting children, in Revolting times' is such a good song to go with #GodtheChild ... the revolutionary power of childness
If you've read #GodtheChild, can you do me a favour - please leave a review on Amazon (or indeed on other websites, like goodreads) because it really helps. Thank you.

We had a great book launch of #GodtheChild - with contributions from Karen O'Donnell, Carrie Grant, Rohan Gideon & Al Barrett - speaking about how the book fearlessly asks questions, speaks truth (not adult fiction) to power, topples idols & empires, & affirms children's agency - and some great Q&A

Wow it was great to take the ideas in #GodtheChild on their first public excursion - to the URC research network - with some lovely responses (e.g. "a firework display in my mind") & some AMAZING questions (about gender, the cross as chaos, how Hebrew ideas of time may help). Wow
Becoming like children: 1. God values smallness & helps us in ours to attend to the belittled. 2. A different kind of power, like seeds, yeast - & butterflies; effecting but not determining change. 3. Restless imagination, curious about what is & what could be #GodtheChild
