Very intrigued by your tomato breeding project. I went to the Heirloom Expo in Sept (Ventura, CA), attended a presentation by Julia Dakin of #GoingToSeed and am working thru the GTS free course Adaptation Gardening. Am learning, planning my next moves.

I also dislike commercial kale varieties - and I’m no supertaster.

But Herself and her #GoingtoSeed ne’erdowells have been letting different oleraceas backcross to create a cohort of kale-adjacents which are less bitter, richer flavored, softer leaved - and various combinations thereof.
