#GoldenSpanners Into the EMUs now and 1st Generation New EMU. Picking up a Silver Spanner is SWR's Wimbledon Depot for their Class 458/4s, while Govia Thameslink Railway scoops the Golden Spanner for Hornsey Depot's Class 387/1s.

#GoldenSpanners In the 2nd Generation New DMUs section, TfW's Class 197s maintained at Chester win a Silver Spanner, with Greater Anglia's Norwich Crown Point-based Class 755/4s winning the Golden Spanner!

#GoldenSpanners Onto the 1st Generation New DMU section, and it's a Silver Spanner for Govia Thameslink Railway and Selhurst Depot's Class 171s. The winner of the Golden Spanner is TransPennine Express and its Ardwick based Class 185s!

#GoldenSpanners and onto the 2nd Generation New Intercity. Good news for GWR as Stoke Gifford and North Pole scoop a Silver Spanner for their Class 800s, while winning the section are Hull Trains' Class 802/3s, maintained at Doncaster depot!

#GoldenSpanners In the 1st Generation New Intercity category, Avanti West Coast's Longsight team gets a well earned Silver Spanner for their Class 390s... and the Golden Spanner goes to CrossCountry for its Central Rivers-based Class 220/221s. Well done!

#GoldenSpanners Next up, ex-BR DMU, and ScotRail's Shields Road Depot scoops a silver spanner for its Class 318s, while the golden spanner goes to... SWR again and Wimbledon's legendary Class 455s!

Excellent news from the Modern Railways Golden Spanner awards yesterday! As yet another ‘Golden Spanner’ was awarded to the Siemens class 185 in the First Generation new DMU category. Congratulations to all involved.
