Former Air Force E-4 F-15 jet engine mechanic here so I have spent a lot of the on a flight line, and also a #goldstarson here. 1) you are to remove your hat out of respect during the dignified transfer. 2) you never wear a hat on the flight line as it is a F.O.D and jet engine digestion risk!!
