Large wildfire right now on the NTTR. Over 35k ac and 20% contained. Burning since July 4th (possible lightning) but nobody is reporting on it. Only Air Force and BLM are fighting the fire because the area is closed off and super secret. The #GothicFire
#GothicFire - On about July 4th (possible lightning) a wildland fire started in the closed off/super secret Nevada Test and Training Range (NTTR). It appears to be making a run today and is now ~37,000 - 20% contained. Firefighting personnel are Air Force and BLM only. No pictures.

The sharp decline in visibility within the last hour in the Front Range is related to a wall of smoke moving in from the #GothicFire in NV. It may smell smoky in areas.
