As the sun rises this morning, remember to look up.
In all that lies ahead today, remember to look up.
If you don’t know which step to take next, remember to look up.

“…Let go
Let God
Come on, child, grow
Get off the ground
He is not found so low
No!
Wellbeing is not tight and mean
It’s vast expanse embraces all
Arms wide upon a cross
Tomb empty
So from the seesaw fall…”
(Ruth Rice)

“May God’s image in me be restored, and my imagination in God be re-storied. May the gravity of material things be lightened, and the relativity of time slow down. May I know grace to embrace my own finite smallness in the arms of God’s infinite greatness.”
(Pete Greig)
10 years ago we were on The Mall for the Boundless march, celebrating 150 years of The Salvation Army. I can’t believe a whole decade has passed - this was undoubtedly the best week of my time as a Cadet. Lots of happy memories of amazing people! #GraceAndEmbrace @salvationarmyuk.bsky.social
“And, I’m in that place once again”… my usual spot for sabbath rest… drinking coffee and determined to finish this book! #GraceAndEmbrace
It’s lovely to be sat in the garden with a good book (thanks to Colonel Paul for the recommendation!) and a brew. The strawberries and plums are well on their way too! #GraceAndEmbrace
