An array of photos from the 20’s supposedly of 15th century men at arms adorn the walls. Some of these maybe of dubious historical accuracy 😬
The Gradara model page has been updated with the keep installation and a gallery on the finished model in situ.

A view of the wip of Gradara castle keep in front of a blue sky (see what I did there…) backdrop. The wall has had a quick coat of the base colour, which is a dull pinky grey. There are 28mm figures on the top to hopefully show a sense of scale. The bricks are roughly 2mm high. Still plenty to do lol

The keep will be ready for Gradara Ludens on the 20/21st of this month. The model has had a quick coat of the base colour to bring it together for this post.

Terza tappa #Venezia-#Puglia. Ho visto moltissime partite di beach volley, ma nessun punto completo. Tanta ciclabile sulla spiaggia, 1 attraversamento con traghettino, ascesa a #Gradara. Ho pomposamente attraversato il #Rubicone: "dadus tractus est", non torno più indietro!

A plan view of the ground floor of Gradara castle keep. The courtyard is in the middle with the castle rooms around the edge. There are no right angles anywhere on this model. It’s driving me potty 😂

An overhead view of the lasered floor plan for the keep. There are holes cut in the boards to help keep the weight down, these will be covered later. At the bottom, two rooms have had their walls assembled and painted.
