A red-banded leafhopper at the edge of a leaf. There are two leaves which take up most of the background of the photo, separated by less than an inch. The leafhopper is at the top center edge of the one on the left and it is facing left. It is primarily green with several red bands on the wings. The thorax is green and the head, abdomen, and legs are yellow. There is a bit of white on the top of its head and a black stripe across the middle of the head and a curved black stripe at the end of the tail
