DYK Johannes #Gratian (d. 1159), who fashioned the Vatican’s Canon Law, decreed that #abortion in some cases was not as evil as #BirthControl. He wrote:

It was on 4th August AD367 that #Gratian was made Augustus, aged 8, by his father, the #Roman Emperor Valentinian I. Gratian was born in #Sirmium (Sremska Mitrovica in Serbia) & assassinated in Lyon aged 24 in 383AD.
