An unexpected discovery this morning in the #GreatBedwyn Parish Registers. This entry is for on of my 7 x Great Grandfathers. I won't type the cause of death but the Vicar added it clearly to the burial record.

#GreatBedwyn parish registers are just fabulous, never seen a vicar add how long a lady has been widowed before, plus extra abode details. Very helpful for a common name like Robert Hawkins. Even nicer writing in this record too.
