2021 Annual Report For Science Europe, 2021 was a very important year: the association celebrated its 10th year of existence. Founded in 2011, it has grown into a respected and influential voice in the European research policy debate. Moreover, we published a new Strategy Plan for 2021–2026, which maps our collective objectives and sets a specific yet flexible action framework over the next five years. The present Annual Report highlights the most significant contributions throughout 2021. Knowledge sharing and a true European spiritamong our members shape up our positions and guidelines. These cover a wide variety of facets of research organisation and research policy making, including management of research data, EU data related legislation, Open Science, research infrastructures, research culture. We closely followed up the launch of Horizon Europe and firmly advocated the full association of the UK and Switzerland to the new Framework Programme. We also organised several activities to reinforce the role of science in tackling the Green and Digital Transition.

As 2022 is coming to an end, you can still read about what we did in 2021!
