A common green darner on an evergreen tree. The dragonfly is facing up. It has a greenish rounded head. The upper part of it also a light green, turning into brown as it goes down the tail. The four wings are clear.

This #greendarner #dragonfly was way bigger than Wikipedia says it should be, easily the size of my hand. This is almost the entire frame and I was over 8' (2.5 meters) away!
