Today is my birthday. I’ve always looked forward March 10th. I think that means I am loved and so very lucky.
Grief is my forever companion but so is gratitude. #griefandgratitude

Grief & gratitude aren't opposites. They're yin & yang. Loss makes us grateful for what once was. Gratitude grows richer from knowing how fragile everything is.
I believe there's real peace in holding both at once.
What about you?

Becoming a parent is a profound gain—and a quiet loss. You’re allowed to love your new role while grieving your old freedoms and routines.

Both truths can exist at once.

I can hold grief and gratitude at the same time.

This is how healing happens—slow, layered, real.

A warmly lit vintage photo of a woman holding a baby in a kitchen. The woman has long dark hair and glasses, and wears a red and black checkered shirt. She lovingly holds the baby, who looks off to the side in a striped outfit. Behind them are yellow-curtained windows, and a counter lined with bottles of Coca-Cola priced at 49 cents. The scene feels intimate and nostalgic, evoking family warmth and a moment frozen in time.
