I love #StarTrek. #GrowingUpinaCult, my parents restricted us from many things, but allowed unfettered access to #Trek. When I got out and realized everything I was taught was a lie, I used #StarTrekTNG as a guide for rebuilding my worldview based on logic, empathy, and harm-reduction. #ThankstoTrek

#GrowingUpInaCult, I learned from age 3 that god sent my family on a mission to "wake the righteous" & prepare safe places for them during the "Last Days." I've known for decades now that it's not true. My rational mind knows, but my heart feels sad, guilty & responsible for all of us. #TraumaSucks
