Woke up on the sofa to the finale bit of #LoveActually so took some tea to bed, now watching #TheQuietPlace:DayOne as it takes a very different sort of acting.
Looking forward to a family dog walk tomorrow, more food, booze & sharing #GunsActually ( #BlackDoves ) with wife, brother & sister-in-law.
I suggest an antidote to #LoveActually is the new #KeiraKnightley & #BenWishaw (Bond connection) drama / comedy (I laughed quite a lot) #BlackDoves which I watched over a week ago & still smirk to myself.
I also think, for shorthand, it should be colloquially renamed #GunsActually & shown every Xmas
What an absolutely stupendous piece of work it is.
Sort of like if Michael Mann directed the next John Lewis Christmas advert for several hours. With a decent splash of arch/black comedic interplay.
