Think #GWed has had the most disappointing second series of a show in a long time. The first series was one of the best new comedies in years but the second run has felt like a very different show - an ensemble led second rate teen drama rather than a character led sitcom.

Baffling ITV had a hit comedy with #Gwed then turned it into an issue led ensemble drama.

Watching the second episode now and it feels like a completely different show to the first series - the central character who made the first series so watchable is barely featuring. Just don't care about any of these characters. #Gwed

It's also completely forgotten it's supposed to be a comedy. Great comedies can pull off the more emotional issue led stuff as we've seen with #BigBoysby created such strong characters viewers empathise with but #Gwed fails by pushing such stories on largely unfamiliar ensemble cast members.

The first series of #Gwed was brilliant but something seems a bit off with the opener of the second. Suffers hugely from being more ensemble based and the obligatory 30 year old hugely distracting.

Great cameo from The Vivienne - such a huge loss.
