We saw a sweet moment at North Channel Branch compost site: A kid dropped off his family’s food waste, went to Lowe's for a bigger bucket, and inspired the manager to bring us buckets to share at the next event, all thanks to this awesome kid who even came back with more scraps!

This year’s library summer reading program theme is "Color Our World" and I’ve been reflecting on what that lately.

For me, that means sharing our talents. I like to paint, so I brought my painted characters from my children's book to library storytime.
