Keishan Scott (D)- 70.6%
William Oden (R)- 29.4%
A 36-point overperformance from 2024 in a majority-Black district that's been trending away from the Dems in recent years.
And just for a state of the race in the South Carolina #HD50 (Harris+5) special election (50% of the vote in):
Keishan Scott (D)- 75.9%
William Oden (R)- 24.1%
This is going to be one of the biggest Democratic overperformances of the year by the time everything is counted.
So, the Democrat in the South Carolina #HD50 (Harris+5) special election just won the Kershaw County portion of the district by 25 points.
That part of the district backed Trump by 32% in 2024.
I'm calling it, the Democrats have HELD #HD50 and will massively overperform Kamala's 2024 performance.

It's a Democratic defense in an area that's becoming more friendly to Republicans (albeit more Democratic downballot). Will be an exciting one to watch tonight!
There's a special election in SC tomorrow for a majority-Black, Dem-held seat that moved sharply to the right last year: After voting for Biden by 16 points in 2020, #HD50 went for Harris by just 5 points, per our calculations.
