A matter of choice: People and possibilities in the age of AI

A graph showing that the share of population in the "Low and medium" HDI group actually using AI in the past month is 14.4%, and that there is an expected increase in the use of AI in one year to 66.1%. For the "High" HDI group, the share of population actually using AI in the past month is 23.6%, and the share of population using AI in one year is expected to be 68.9%. As for the "Very High" HDI group, the share of population actually using AI in the past month is 19%, and the share of population expected to be using AI in one year is 45.9%.
A new survey in @undp.org’s #HDR2025 finds that while 1 in 5 people currently use Artificial Intelligence, 2 in 3 in lower-HDI countries expect to adopt it for education, health, or work within the next year.
The democratization of AI is already underway.
