The scene is more incidental here, the image is to illustrate lighting, but we have Fi's tousled hair out of focus on the left edge to give some context and contrast, and Harding herself stands squinting, with her head turned toward the blindingly bright Rivaini coast sunlight. The scout has reddish-undertoned, freckled skin, red hair, and wears her usual outfit with a multitude of textures from the fur collar, felt cape and sheepskin detail to leather armoring and gold details, with a white, almost canvas-coarse-weave shirt.

The lighting is always a matter of taste, but here the way it washes out the brightest spots looks good, though ambient contribution is a little low so it looks a bit more contrasty than it would in a real real environment.

The reinhard-rgb mode with a little overdrive is really working for me. Harding's skin is super hard to get lit right and the light is washing out the shirt fabric and wood really nice too.

It's really looking like it's not possible to reduce the tonemaps to a single one. Right now I have three, and I'm trying out two tweaked ones.

Original idea was a 'default' and a 'tricky lighting' map but it might be better to do 'default' and 'preserve-post-editable' instead?
