I wish Halifax admin could understand how dangerous leaves in the bike lanes are. I narrowly avoided a bad crash on Bell road. The lanes are barely as wide as my handlebars, and over half full of wet leaves.
Weekly street cleaning had the roads clear though

Bike accident injury update:
Now that I'm doing heat instead of ice, it's clearing up super fast. The pain is subsiding. I wish I'd done heat sooner. C'est la vie.

I wiped out on the trail. I'm mostly okay, but there's a large bulge on my right calf. It barely hurts.
Some fellow cyclists came by and called an ambulance for me.
The EMS workers are currently trying to figure out how to get me to the ambulance. #HfxBike

a bike rack with a single pallet of garden soil blocking anyone from using it. there is a lot of room behind the pallet. one cyclist has locked their bike to the very end of the bike rack, which is the only accessible part.
