During Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Week Nov. 16-22, 2025, LASP joined community partners to present Know Your Rights as a Renter information sessions on Nov. 19 in English & Nov. 20 in Spanish.

Pardon & Expungement Clinic | Pottstown | July 19, 2025 with LASP, Rep. Joe Ciresi, Senator Tracy Pennycuick, Montgomery County Public Defender, Opportunity House The Deviator’s Inc. & BigFor Critters. At this outreach, 65 people got started on a second chance. Sen, Pennycuick and Rep. Ciresi hosted the clinic at Days Inn in Pottstown. Participants met with an attorney for help clearing their criminal records and to learn more about the pardon and expungement process. The event was presented by Legal Aid of Southeastern PA and Opportunity House, in collaboration with the Montgomery County Public Defender's office. The Deviators, Inc. and Big4 Critters also participated. Thank you for the incredible community effort! Record-clearing improves people's opportunities for jobs, education and housing. Multiple studies show a strong connection between homelessness and contact with the criminal justice system.
