We did it! 💥After 3 years of advocacy with our coalition + partners, #WAleg passed HB 1903, a bill establishing a new low-income #energy bill assistance program for households across the state. Yesterday, @governorferguson.bsky.social signed the bill into law! 📸

At WA state legislature this year, advocates successfully pushed for legislation to enact a dedicated fund for #energy bill assistance. “One of our goals is that a state-run program will provide sustained & predictable assistance, not just one-time bill credits.” - Aqsa Mengal of Front and Centered.
