Sur certains processeurs récents, le noyau Linux gérait les fréquences CPU de manière conservatrice, ce qui pouvait limiter les performances dans certains cas. **Bonne nouvelle : ça vient de changer.** En effet, le kernel 6.18, annoncé par Linus Torvalds le 30 novembre 2025, embarque un patch qui lève une restriction du pilote intel_pstate. Concrètement, le driver peut maintenant activer les états de performance matériels (HWP) dans des cas où il refusait de le faire auparavant.
