Possible projects to connect Finland to Estonia and Sweden 1. Turku to Stockholm with combination of tunnels and bridges. 2. Tunnel between Helsinki and Tallinn, it's not the first time this project has been on the news, this would create a mega city of the two capital cities and would please the first Presidents of the two countries, who actually wanted an Union. 3. Vaasa to Umeå connected also with a series of tunnels and bridges. 4. EU standard track from Raahe to Rovaniemi that is connected to the Swedish town of Haaparanta (Haparanda), using the narrower track would make it easy with transports down Sweden and further out to Europe.
